ITS ALL ABOUT THE BUTTERFLIES

Hi all, today I have a card to share with you and to enter into some challenges.

I am really chuffed with myself, why?.......because I have actually used a stencil and distress inks to create my own background, yay, I am a happy bunny with the outcome.

I stencilled the butterfly mask then mounted it onto red card stock, I used the same card stock plus some black for the butterfly corners and central circles. I have used Memory Box Butterfly Corner Die cut and my new Die Namics stitched circle dies, I stamped the main butterfly with Versafine then embossed with clear embossing powder I coloured with Graph it Markers then cut it out and mounted it centrally, I used little pearls for the stamens, I also added some Viva Decor to the die cut butterflies then finally added a sentiment.

FAB 'N' FUNKY #252

Good morning it is time for a new challenge at

Here is my DT card using an image called

AVA MISTLETOE FAIRY

I used my MCS programme to insert the sentiments around the image, I then coloured her with Graph It Markers, the papers are LOTV, I have used lace, string of pearls, die cut tree and snowflake topper and some punched snowflakes, I have added lots of glitter.

FLY LIKE A BUTTERFLY

Good morning, it is chilly here in Gloucester but the sun is shining so it looks like it is going to be a nice day, a good one for drying the washing.

I have been enjoying seeing the wonderful Spring and Easter cards that are about at the moment so thought I would make a Spring time Tilda card.

I have been going through some of my stamps, again, and really felt the urge to start using my beloved Tilda stamps, I have loads and quite a few have yet to be opened, I just love to collect her, lol.

My choice was an older Tilda stamp that I have had for a long, long time, I coloured her with Graph It Markers and Copics, I actually stamped her with Versafine Black Onyx then embossed her with clear embossing powder, I have tried to take photos at different angles for you to see it but I am not sure it has worked, I also used the same technique on the Butterfly the embossing shows up better.

The papers are LOTV, I have added some flower pearls, stamped sentiment, die cut butterfly border and doily, I added flower stamens for the butterfly's antenna.

BUSY TILDA

Hi all, today I have a 'Tilda' card to share with you and to enter into some challenges.

I have used 3 Magnolia images the first is the half plate that I embossed with WOW Red Glitter Embossing Powder, my Tilda the Cook image stamped with Versafine Onyx Block Ink then clear embossed, third I used the Magnolia Muffin, I did one embossed in WOW red glitter embossing powder but it didn't look right so I scrapped it and stamped 3 images of the cake with Versafine Onyx Black ink then coloured them with Graph It Markers, the papers are a mixture of LOTV and SU, I have used both black and white card stock for mounting the papers on, I used foam pads under the spotty paper and plate, I added some lace then used silicone glue for two Tilda's, the third cake I also used foam pads, finally I added a foiled banner sentiment, Viva Decor Silver Liquid Pearl, double red bow and resin heart.
