Pixie Dust Studio #78

Hi all today the challenge at
is all about 'Let's Cool Down'
We would love to see you create a Christmas/Winter Themed card/project
Here is my GDT card using the beautiful image of the December Pixie
This is my first Christmas card of 2011 and I really enjoyed making it, I decided on a lovely cool blue colour theme using Bearlymine papers.  I coloured December Pixie with Copics I used silver metallic Crystal Lacquer on the fur trimmings of her hat and coat.  I found some lovely pleated material and made it into a circle to mount the image on.  I used TH Vintage Photo distressing ink then added some gold stickles around the circle, I added some wide blue stitched ribbon topped with Lace which I thought had an icicle effect, I found some wee pom poms and added them to the centre of the lace.  I punched out some blue snowflakes and silver stars then finally added some flowers.
I would like to enter this into the challenge at Papertake Weekly which is Anything Goes.
Hugs to all see you later.

Hi all today our new challenge starts at Digital Tuesday and the theme this week is
In The Garden/Outdoors
Our sponsor is
Here is my DT card
I have used a Spesch image called Spring Flower which I have had for quite awhile but thought she would be perfect for this weeks theme.
I have coloured the image with Copics the mounted onto my new Nestie die, I was a naughty girl and treated myself to the Grand Caliber that was on Create & Craft with the Spellbinder dies.  I can now use larger images and have a die cut large enough to cut them out, lol.
The papers are all Bearlymine, I have added some card candy, a daisy and some green vintage netting that I got from Crafty Emma's store, I cut it into a strip then tied a knot.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
I hope you like my card and I want to thank you all for your lovely comments and congratulations on my new DT post.
I hope that you will come join our challenge this week at
Digital Tuesday http://digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/we really look forward to seeing you.
Hugs to all.

Two Cards Today

Hi all today I have two cards that I am entering into challenges, but first I would like to share some good news with you.
I have been chosen as one of the new DT at Bearlymine I am so happy as I have always loved using Bearlymine papers they are so beautiful and inspiring.
Ok onto my cards which are both very clean and simple.  I have seen this style become so popular over the last 12 months and decided to have ago even though I have avoided this technique so far.
My first card I made at the request of my mum, one of my Nephews wife just gave birth to a baby daughter so this is what I came up with.
I have used one of my H&S stamps I stamped it twice in Versafine Onyx black and coloured with Copics I cut them both out and mounted onto an embossed die cut, I also used the accessory stamps the bow and the flower plus the sentiment.  The paper is Bearlymine, I added a punched border topped with white grosgrain ribbon and that was it.
My next card is something i have never done before which is to use just a stamp and sentiment on a white 8x8 card.  The stamp I have had for a few years but never used I got it in a swap so cannot tell you the name, but I thought that as it was a big stamp it would look quite nice, I did do this based on a sketch but the challenge for that has now closed.  The image and sentiment have both been inked with SU Rich Razzleberry ink.
The challenges I would like to enter both these cards into are as follows:
Well I think that is it for today but I will be visiting later on hugs.

I have used a digital image, I found this one in a folder but it did not have a name so not sure where it came from.  I thought it would be perfect for Fathers Day with those lovely fluffy bunny slippers.
I coloured the image with Copics the papers are Bearlymine and all have been mounted onto red card, I added some wide red stitched ribbon topped with blue grosgrain ribbon, I also added some buttons, stars and sentiment.
I would like to enter this one into the following challenges:
